Experience what it means to be ahead of the rest. Leaving a lasting impression with tangible, printed items of quality. Your project, our services—now that’s a perfect match.

Sheetfed Offset Printing

Sheetfed offset printing is the most cost-effective form of print, particularly for large runs. It’s also ideal when you need large quantities and/or flexible color, paper and sizing options.

With sheetfed offset printing, sheets of paper are fed into the printing press to be printed on. Some sheetfed presses contain what’s called a “perfector cylinder” and this enables the pressman to flip the sheet of paper so both sides can be printed on in one pass.

Sheet-fed offset printing is a method in which individual pages of paper are fed into the machine. This printing method is popular for small and medium-sized fixed jobs such as limited-edition books.

Digital Printing

Ideal for smaller quantities, digital printing skips the plating process typical of Sheetfed printing, and instead prints directly onto the material. Recent advances in digital printing have resulted in very high quality prints nearly on par with offset printing.

Large Format Printing

Large format printers (also known as wide format printers) allow for prints far larger than that supported by digital or offset printing. The Pressbox is able to print from rolls of Vinyl, Uncoated offset, Satin, and Gloss paper types in sizes anywhere from 14” to 42” tall and 100” wide!

UV Flatbed Printing

This tabletop UV printer has been engineered to accommodate all direct-to-object printing applications!  All thanks to a print technology allowing the print head to propel UV ink droplets directly onto 3D items secured by specialized tooling. Your business can therefore expand its personalization options by printing images, graphics, and logos onto various types of products (Metal, Plastic, Wood, Glass and many more).

Binding

The Pressbox can help you find the perfect binding for your booklet with our various selections:

Saddle Stitch

The most common and economical binding method. Created by punching wire through the document’s outside spine, then bending the wire flat on the inside centre fold to grip all the pages.

Perfect Binding

Sections of folded pages (signatures) have their spines trimmed off and roughed up to improve bonding with glue. All sections are collated and glued to its wrap-around cover. Cover is always scored on back and front, for ease of opening and less stress on spine.

Spiral or Coil Binding

This binding method utilizes a smooth round coil in the color of your choosing to hold the pages together. A coil bound bind allows your book to lie flat when open, and pages can be turned all the way around to the back if desired. Wire is threaded through punched holes and then ends are crimped to prevent wire slipping off. Available in variety of colors.

GBC or Comb Binding

This economical method of bindery is suitable for manuals and books that need to lay flat when open. Using rectangular holes punched through the document, the plastic comb’s rings are threaded through holes and page edges at the spine are covered by the plastic comb.

Folding

In addition to folding press sheets into signatures (which will eventually be bound and slit), folding is also performed to create brochures, magazine and newspaper inserts, maps, newspapers, etc. Our folding machines are high-speed, high-tech devices that use combinations of knives and rollers to rapidly and accurately fold sheets.

Cutting

Using our in-house cutter, the Lawson II Pacemaker, is more than capable of handling any of your cutting needs.

Gluing (Fan apart & Note pads)

Fan apart glue is great for invoice sets, delivery notes, receipt books and any document using carbonless copy (NCR). Padding glue is the industry standard for padding and binding into pads.

Lamination

Lamination achieves improved strength, durability, and appearance to the printed sheet. Ideal for menus or other materials which might be handled frequently by the end user.

UV Coating

UV Coating is a very professional finishing option which applies a tough clear-coat to your printed materials which will protect it from scratches, tears, and fingerprints. UV Coating also provides the added benefit of enhancing the brilliance and vibrance of color in your printed piece.
